Fear Exists Where the Mind Allows It
There are moments in life when fear exists where the mind allows it, often feeling more real than reality itself. Not because something dangerous is truly present, but because the mind quietly begins creating stories of its own.
There was once a person who could barely sleep at night. Every sound felt unsettling. Every movement in the dark seemed frightening. Even the silence carried a strange weight, as though someone was watching, waiting, or about to appear.
Yet none of it was real.
The fear existed only within her thoughts. But thoughts, when repeated often enough, begin to shape emotions, behavior, and even the way we see the world.
What she later understood was simple, yet powerful: the mind follows what we continuously feed it. And in her case, fear exists where the mind allows it.
When fear is nurtured, it grows stronger. When courage is chosen, even in small moments, fear slowly loses its power.
Life is not always about eliminating the darkness around us. Sometimes, it is about learning not to let the darkness inside us take control.
In the end, our thoughts quietly decide the direction of our lives — whether we choose fear or whether we choose strength despite it.
